The Beatles & Frank Ifield  "Jolly What"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Vee Jay 1085  from 1964.   This is the Stereo pressing on the all black label with 'VJ' over Vee-Jay Records.    This is VJ 1085.SR3 in Bruce Spiver's book.      It has four Bealtes songs : 'Please Please Me, From Me To You, Ask Me Why, and Thank You Girl'.     The rest are by Frank Ifield.

The Matrix numbers are : Side One :  ( The MR in a circle is scratched over  ) 64-3853-S  ,   triangle 6298.     Side Two :  (The MR in a circle is scratched over )   64-3853-S  , triangle 6298 X    1-26-64.  

The songs are : Please Please Me, Any Time, Lovesick Blues, I'm Smiling Now, Nobody's Darling, From Me To You, I Remember You, Ask Me Why, Thank Your Girl, The Wayward Wind, Unchained Melody, and I Listen To My Heart.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG+ with no ring wear and no seam splits.   There is a faded name stamped on the front cover to the left of the bearded man.    There is tiny corner wear.      The vinyl looks near mint and it plays VG+.   There is light static before the music starts.     There are no scuffs or scratches at all.     The labels are clean with lots of spindle marks.  The record comes in a VJ  inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound, 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
