The Beatles – From Liverpool - The Beatles Box COMPLETE 8 x LP EX 1980 UK Press.
Career spanning whopping 8LP box set of Beatles LPs.
Original 1st UK issue on the 2 box EMI labels for issued for World Records. All matrix endings are “-1”across all 16 sides and “1” mothers too.
The vinyl does have light marks and scuffs, more noticeable on the 1st 4 discs. Visually these grade VG to VG+ with the last 4 discs grading EX to EX+ visually.
I have fully play tested this and the play grade is EX+. There are no pops, skips, jumps or clicks on any of the records. Disc one has a little crackle on the run ins only, and there are a couple of very light instances of surface noise on a couple of the spaces between tracks. 99.9% of this set plays without any noticeable surface noise at all, and certainly nothing can be heard over the music.
Visual grade average VG+
Play grade is EX+
The box has a tiny split on inside die cut piece for lifting the sleeves out. A little wear on edges in places. Other than that it is pretty close good - See photos - grades EX- overall
Picture inners are all NM
One of the original poly lined inners is missing and has been replaced with a new poly lined inner.
I would grade the overall sleeve and inners as EX
Overall this is a superb box set of LPs with loads and loads of classic Beatles tunes.
