Description
The Beatles. From Liverpool - The Beatles Box. 1980. Parlophone
The box is in nice condition with wear to the corners, which have come apart in the past and taped together (it doesn't look too bad). The back cover has also been repaired due to tear (see photo). The records themselves are in fantastic condition with the cover and inner sleeves looking near mint. Regarding the vinyl the only issue I can see is with disc three side one, where there is a mark but after a play through I found no jumps, skips, pops or ticks. There is also a very small scratch on disc five side one which causes a soft tick for a couple of minutes. Overall the LPs sound fantastic.
Please note the record has been visually inspected and play tested for rating
All the records have been cleaned by hand then washed with a 'Disco-Antistat' cleaner (just like a spin clean) and this has in most cases improved the sound considerably.
