Item Description: 

Very Good Plus:  Most sellers would grade this Near Mint, but we conservatively graded it as an exceptional VG+.  Incredibly rare to find this variation in such great condition.  Labels are nearly flawless!  Vinyl is glossy and very few light surface scratches that do not affect the clean sound.   A soft pop may be heard before and after the songs on each side but no noise was detected during the songs.  These photos represent the actual item you will receive.  Please review the images carefully.  Info from Discogs:  Black rainbow, VJ in brackets label variation. Spizer ID #: VJ522.04.  This is the second to last version of this single before Vee-Jay took, "From Me To You" from this single and added it to "Please, Please Me", from VJ 498, and created essentially, a new double A sided single VJ 581.

Grading:

We based our grading on the definitions found in Discogs.  For more information, please see the Discogs support article #360001566193.
Here are our priorities used for grading:

Near Mint (NM):  A nearly perfect record. The vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. The record should show no obvious signs of wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+):  Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole.  Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.

Very Good (VG):  Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

Good(G), Good Plus (G+):  A record can be played through without skipping.  But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear.  A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine.  Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present.  While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

Poor(P), Fair (F):  The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating.  The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing.
