Description

Stunning gorgeous boxed set of this second pressing. (Records don’t get edited, therefore they’re not editions.) The first pressing came in that marvelous tin movie reel. This second pressing from the mid-1990’s was issued in this box. This copy is still in the shrinkwrap, because I’m the original owner.

(Note to newbies: “Still in shrink does not mean still sealed! It means the album is opened, but the owner didn’t pull the shrink off the cover.)

Currently, there are several volumes of The Get Back Journals listed on eBay. These volumes are cannibalizations of this complete set. Technically, this is Volume One. But it contains all of the material that you can currently see listed in separate volumes on CD. Offered here is the full 11 volumes on vinyl.

Box---Sturdy and strong. Graphics are as bold as the day I bought it. There is a white dot on McCartney’s face at the top, which was how I’d received it. (Hmm. Must mean that Paul is dead in some way.) The inner black cases which house three to four LP’s each are also in the same condition I’d received it. The white wear to the black inner cases is also how I’d received it. The shrinkwrap does an outstanding job, preventing slick loss to the outer cover of the box, and I strongly advise you not to remove it when you get it.

Vinyl---All the vinyl (not vinyls) are in stunning, stone mint condition. Put all 22 sides to the bare bulb test. You will not find a single scratch among them. The colors and marbled vinyl all stand bold, full of the original color, with absolutely NO dulling to a single one of them. I’m starting to not want to sell this now that I’m looking at it, but hard times call for letting your vinyl children go!

(Note: There are eight of the eleven discs pictured here, because the remaining three LP’s are repeated colors. But they’re all in the set!)

Wanna see your Beatles collector buddy’s jaw drop, scattering her/his bottom teeth across the floor, eyes popped wide open, involuntarily releasing the brown noise? Be sure this is under the tree on Christmas Eve.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl. However, I am happy to by request. As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.
