Description
1st press, thick gatefold sleeve with lyrics insert. Contains also a color poster taken at the time of Bahamas' location (see pictures). Toshiba released the first Japanese record featuring the Beatles.
When this record was released, Toshiba's official name was "Toshiba Musical Industries Ltd." and they used the Odeon label for this and subsequent Beatles releases.
Labels: no writings or labels no serious flaws, evidence of play grade ex
Sleeve: superb gatefold fully readable spine, no serious flaws at all, still grades STRONG ex easy - still lovely & crisp.
Vinyl visual: each disc still retains all its first pressed sheen, mostly the odd light hairline marks under a bright halogen lamp and grade ex+.
Vinyl sound: this fine sounding copy has been little played and the sound throughout is warm and rich with no groove/playwear to any track. Our play-check detected just a little low-level vinyl background between tracks but certainly no clicks, pops or other such distractions.
Inners: both retain their crispness so grade ex- & ex+ hard to find many better
Poster: orginal poster in near mint condition
