Description
Over the years I managed to collect a few of the most sought after Beatles albums . Of this famous Shell album I even got myself more than one, as a sort of investment. But my closets are getting fuller and fuller, so: It's time to sell a few of them. A short description:
Well, what can be said about this famous album? Let me try: this special 1979 release featured a special promotional cover for the dutch oil company Shell. It was also released in Sweden. This is the Swedish version. Totally, 2000 copies were made (around 1000 in both countries) and were never up for sale. They were available only as a special limited edition to the the employees of Shell. It is the only time a Beatles record was associated with a company in this way!!
They are getting harder to find these days and are highly collectable among Beatles collectors!!
These days a lot of reissues are in circulation, but this one is the real deal of course. Stamped matrixnumbers, thick sleeve, it's all obvious!!!!
Condition
The vinyl is in perfect NM condition. Both visually and by ear. The cover is a EX!!! The last two pictures sow the only flaws of the cover. Other than that, its perfect.
I HAVE MORE INTERESTING BEATLES LP"S FOR SALE. AFTER THE FIRST LP< THE NEXT 4 ARE SHIPPED FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!
