Description
The Beatles HEY JUDE Capitol Records SW-385 Purple Label in the Shrink Wrap, Gold Record Award Emblem on front cover. MINT CONDITION!! Record has NOT been played. Vinyl is Excellent. Album cover is MINT condition, with only very slight upper right corner wrinkle from the tight shrink wrap. The original inside liner is a plain white envelope style, with one small tear to inner sleeve towards the center.
Story: I was living in New York City in 1980 when John Lennon was shot. I was in total shock and disbelief, like so many people. My instinct was to run to the nearest record store immediately, which was the Disc-O-Mat in Grand Central Station, where I purchased many Beatles records that day and put them away, never played them. This is one of those Beatle albums that's been in storage all this time. See all listing photos for close up condition of label, vinyl and original sleeve.
