In this auction is 1 Beatles Picture Sleeve with 1 Beatles original 45 RPM record.

Here are the details:

·       “DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET?” b/w “THANK YOU GIRL” by The Beatles

·       This is a 7-INCH RECORD and PICTURE SLEEVE issued by VEE JAY (VJ) Records. 

·       This is VJ-587 with the VJ Brackets Logo, silver printing on black label with color band.

·       This record was issued in 1964. 

·       This picture sleeve was issued March 23, 1964. 

·       The VINYL is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION. There are 2 pairs of small staple holes near the top of the sleeve (where a record store owner in 1964 stapled the sleeve closed to prevent the record from sliding out when being handled by the public.) There is an extremely tiny tear at the top of the sleeve at the opening. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO RING WEAR, and NO WRITING on this sleeve. There is some slight disc impression (NOT ring wear) and light signs of handling. For sure, this is a tough sleeve to find in decent condition.  Check out the images and you will see how nice this sleeve is!! (The paper Vee Jay used in production of this sleeve is just one step above newsprint, so many of these sleeves were easily split and torn, but not this one!)

These grading Good+ (G+), Very Good Minus (VG-), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Near Mint Minus or Very Good++ (NM- or VG++), Near Mint (NM), Mint Minus (M-), and Mint (M or MT) to VISUALLY grade the 45s and picture sleeves I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. NOTE:  In the description I stated that "there are 2 pairs of small staple holes near the top of the sleeve". Upon review of this sleeve, I am pleased to say that there are actually NO STAPLE HOLES! I was looking at a different copy I have of this sleeve in a lower grade when I typed that. Sorry for the error.
