Description
HELP! on the UK Parlophone label from 1971. Matrix -1/-1. Stampers 3-LD/3-HA. The LP still holds the 'Gramophone' text around the perimeter of the label as the late 60's copies did [and was discontinued in the UK in 1973] The record comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with the flipbacks exposed and includes the original sepia advertising inner sleeve. This is a tube-cut original like the 60's pressings, but in addition it's been kept in vault/archive condition...and that's very very unusual. 100% original & 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) This LP has seen very very minimal use and is shiny like new. Under close inspection I can barely see a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio playback is absolutely superb..barely a hint of interference. Intros and inbetweens are absolutely silent. In addition, due to the fact that this is a decent tube-cut pressing the audio has a lovely wide range with bags of detail just like those early 60's originals. I couldn't detect more than one or two crackles the whole way through , and that really is very unusual.
Cover (NM) Again, in remarkably well preserved condition...it just looks like it has been archived for 45 years! The front is shiny like new and the rear is perfectly white. There's no edge wear to speak of and the opening edges are sharp like a newly manufactured cover. Overall the cover has perfect rigidity like it was made yesterday. Don't think there are many left like this>>>>>>!!
Inner (Ex) Perfect condition. No ageing and no splits at all.
