Description
Here we have The Beatles LP: Help!
This is the 1st UK edition. PMC 1255 and is Mono.
'The gramophone Co' around the label 'sold in UK' I need you has * after it. KT stamped on side 2 label. Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve.
I have cleaned the record on my Okki Nokki One cleaning machine. This removes all the dust and any dirt that has accumulated deep in the grooves and really improves the sound.
Released in 1965
Matrix: Side 1: XEX 549-2 AR Side 2: XEX 550-2 HA
I have graded the vinyl as good. It's not in the best condition, but it is playable. Both sides have surface scratches. Side 1 has a long scratch that starts at the run-in and end at the 5th track. However, surprisingly, the playback is better than expected. There's lots of crackle at the start on side two for about a minute and Yesterday is quite crackly. But the rest of the record sounds ok. you can occasionally hear some light crackle in the background, but mostly, you wouldn't know the scratches were there. You can here crackle on the run-ins between tracks but because most of the tracks are quite loud, they drown out the scratches. Yesterday is the only quiet track where you can hear some noise.
The cover is excellent. The back has faded very slightly around the edges and there's some light wear on the opening on the back. The front laminate is intact and there's no shelf wear. The edges and the spine are sound.
The inner sleeve is the original 'Emitex' one. it has faded and there's sellotape down one edge, but overall it's ok.
The record labels are good. some visible spindle marks and some slight wear around the hole. No names or stickers on.
