Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Play Grade Very Good Minus (Quite a sharp sound, there is quite a bit of noticeable audible crackle throughout the main tracks, there is also some audible background noise in between tracks, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, there are quite a number of noticeable light pops and clicks throughout the record. VG- Sound quality (Playtested 4th July 2007)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Good + (Looks very well played with lots and lots of light superficial hairline surface marks covering the record, there are also 9 or 10 more feelable light scratches/marks on the record and these only affect playback by causing some of the light pops/clicks mentioned above, there are lots of spindle marks on the label which indicates numerous plays but the labels have no rips or tears on them, there is some wear around the spindle holes, there is no pen marks/writing on the label though, visually this record is not in the best of shape but it plays right through with no skips or jumps and the sound is reasonably clear so if you want this in your collection and don't want to fork out hundreds of pounds for a mint copy then maybe this is for you)

Album Cover Grade: Fair (some creasing to the bottom right and bottom left front corners, some creasing to the bottom right and bottom left rear corners, there is a spine split of about 6cm on the centre, no top or bottom edge splits though, there is no major rubbing/wear to the spine and edges other than the spine split, there is slight corner rubbing on all 4 corners, there is a 4cm rip/tear on the rear sleeve where the sleeve opening is, some quite noticeable ringwear on the front and back, some quite bad discolouration and staining on the front and  rear sleeve, the sleeve has also has some major repairs as there was a 10cm by 3 cm piece missing from the front sleeve along the edge opening where ringo starr is stood and this has been replaced with another piece of sleeve from another copy of Help and has been taped from the inside so you can not tell as much, overall an average sleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. Please be confident when buying from me as i have many positive feedback comments left for me and I have been trading on ebay for over 3 years. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'View seller's other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representative of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

All auction start prices will reflect the condition and rarity of the album and its current rough value in the current marketplace.

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
