THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
With it's striking white cover, this is easily one of the hardest original UK Beatles LPs to find in top condition.
You will regularly see other copies on Ebay listed as 'MINT', but this is the real deal and is a true final upgrade example.
This MINT/UNPLAYED UK 1st MONO press dates from initial August 1965 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with an 'MT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 7/OG & 2/MO
Vinyl weight: 153g
The disc is housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' worded inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair bearing just a single spindle trail around the side 1 centre hole only made by stacking in the factory.

Both playing surfaces are factory-fresh with no visual blemishes on either side, even directly beneath halogen light.
Sound Quality: MINT
This ex-shop stock example came to us UNPLAYED and our single careful play-check at volume confirms the sound quality to be flawless throughout. Every aspect of this disc plays perfectly; there is no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel, no ticks, pops or clicks and even the most testing track, 'Yesterday', plays perfectly with no background crackle or peak distortion.

Carefully stored in a non-smoking environment, this beautiful example is as clean & fresh as when it left the store 51 years ago.
The super-clean, slightly creamy coloured front panel retains a totally unworn, unscratched high-gloss laminate with no ring-wear, 'thumbnails' or even a single spine or edge wrinkle.
All aspects of this classic front panel are immaculate.
The only trace of use anywhere on this incredible specimen is a tiny bruise to the lower right corner.
Both opening edges are untouched and in perfect condition.
The rear panel is 100% flawless with no foxing/age spots, writing or missing/rubbed paper.
All flipbacks are in perfect condition.
Both seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit & the spine is immaculate along the entire length.
Inner-sleeve: MINT
Just like the rest of this LP, this is factory-fresh.
This really is the finest copy we have handled during 15 years of trading on Ebay and will not require upgrading.
