Description
A genuine original UK mono pressing of The Beatles – Help!, on Parlophone, catalogue number PMC 1255.
VINYL:
The record has been fully play-tested and plays well overall. There are visible surface marks and scratches consistent with its age and previous use, so I have graded the vinyl conservatively as Very Good.
There is a slight pop during Track 2, “The Night Before”, but otherwise the record plays well. The visible marks and scratches are reflected in the conservative grading. Please see the photographs for a clear indication of the record’s visual condition.
SLEEVE:
The original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Very Good condition overall. The folded/flipback edges are good and secure, and the sleeve remains structurally sound. The spine is intact and the catalogue number is clearly visible.
There is some age-related yellowing and general wear, particularly to the rear of the sleeve. There are also some marks/scratches and signs of writing on the inside of the sleeve/inlay area. These are not visible when looking at the front of the sleeve. Please see the photographs for a clear view.
INNER SLEEVE:
The original inner sleeve is not present. The record is supplied in a clean modern white replacement inner sleeve, providing good protection for the vinyl.
The labels are the original black and yellow Parlophone labels, including the period wording “Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions.”
A genuine original UK mono Help! for a Beatles collector, with the original sleeve intact and a record that has been personally play-tested.
Please study all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description and show the condition of the record and sleeve. There is some damage on the sleeve to the right of ringo.
A recent attic find .. lovely time capsule of the Fab Four. I am not a dealer.
I will make sure that it is shipped securely with cardboard and bubble wrap and the record is now being stored in a plastic sleeve.
