The Beatles - 'Help!' (PMC 1255) 1965 UK 1st Press, XEX 549-2 PPx0 8 / XEX 550-2 ROD 18 (KT tax)
This is a great copy of the iconic LP 'Help!', a UK '65 1st pressing - from a 1-owner collection; with a good sleeve, 2 small front creases and a rear stain mark but no major flaws.
It's a Solid VG+ record with some sleeve removal marks, hairlines and nothing feelable with a finger bar 1 mark on B7- which played through perfectly - at most could benefit from a really through clean to maximise potential.
As per discogs pressing specifics:
First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label.
Variation A. (This one) The original 1st labels used a Sans-Serif font and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” was placed to the right of the song title with a space between: I Need You *.
This is a great playing example of a collector pressing, so grab a classic album on vinyl!

This item is being sold on behalf of a client, whom has been collecting some 50 years. I have experience with the online sale and handling of records and therefore aim to ensure accuracy in grading – however I only visually grade unless I can feel a mark which warrants further play-testing.
Most of the items I sell are on behalf of clients, so while some discs have very minor marks, they could have groove build-up due to not having been out in years. I tend to hand-clean with Isopropyl solution and a microfibre (and then test where needed), but some resulting minor background crackle is not unusual and normally remedied with a further a further more thorough cleaning session session by hand, or on a professional-grade cleaning machine!
Starting-prices have been chosen competitively given Discogs and Popsike, and items will be safely packaged for postage; with discs firstly decanted into new separate inners, that inner and the sleeve then being placed in a new plastic outer sleeve and then shipped using professional grade record-mailers.

2) Static build-up is normal in transit given the prevalence of poly-sleeves. Please ensure to clean the record before complaining about static on the disc on first playing.
