1965 Beatles classic in Excellent collectable condition. 1st pressing with KT tax code, outlined mono.

Front:
Is in excellent/nr mint condition. No laminate lifting or noticible creasing. Minimum yellowing (just slight darkening at the opening edge - barely noticable)
Back:
Excellent - the unlaminated rear has very slghtly darkened over the years and the flipback on one corner is lifting very slightly (see photo)
Opening Edge:
The opening edges are sharp without feathering.
Spine:
Excellent/near mint (see photos)
Edges:
Sides are near mint
Corners:
Near mint
Inner sleeve: The original rice paper inner has no splits or tears and is excellent condition

Comments: An amazingly well preserved sleeve for a 1965 album. Excellent plus nudging into near mint. It is one of the nicest I have seen.

Record:

The discs are not warped in any way.

Side one:
Excellent - under a bright light I can see a couple of fingerprints and a couple of very minor marks commensurate with taking the disc out of the sleeve. There is a light scuff on the dead wax.
Side two:
Near Mint

Excellent - just a mimimal number of spider trails caused by the spindle (see photos)

Visually the vinyl looks excellent with little to reveal its vintage. A nice sheen.
Play testing: LP:Side 1 Near mint audio with one small tick between tracks and two light clicks on the run out groove other wise no pops, distortion or peceptable background noise. Side two: the audio is near mint no pops, clicks, distortion or noticible background noise just great mono analogue sound

Summary. A great sounding and excellent looking collectable copy of this 1965 Beatles classic. You don't come accross many this good.

How I pack:

I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

A bit about me:

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
