The Beatles – Hey Jude French Export LP CPCS 106 VG+/VG Apple Labels
Preloved – Vinyl in very good condition with a few light surface marks on both sides. The outer sleeve shows age-related wear, including light creases and surface marks. The inner sleeve has notable yellowing consistent with age.This is a rare French export pressing of Hey Jude by The Beatles, issued on the Apple label with catalogue number CPCS 106. This version features the Pierre de Prez "LD" marking on the Side 2 label (top right) – an identifying trait of export copies produced for the French market in the early 1970s.
Believed to be a second pressing (circa 1971–1973), the labels feature the “An E.M.I. Recording” credit in two lines and omit “Mfd. in U.K.” The matrix runout on Side 1 reads YEEX 150-1, confirming its authenticity as part of this export batch. The record is housed in a standard white EMI paper sleeve with French safety text, adding to its uniqueness.
The track list includes classics such as Hey Jude, Revolution, Lady Madonna, and Paperback Writer, among others. Laminated sleeve front and back, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse.
A scarce and desirable Beatles release for any collector of international Apple label variants.
