Description
The Beatles: Hey Jude, LP, Capitol Records 1978, Reissue, Purple Label, Jacksonville Press, SW-385 on cover and label, SOW1 385 F7 #4 KP O MASTERED BY CAPITOL etched in runout. I'm providing this so you can check my info on discogs or another site if you'd like to verify. You will get this exact album, as pictured. Because of the difficulty of accurately determining first pressings, I don’t list my albums as such, unless a verifiable source states that it is.
Album is flat and plays without skipping. It is almost perfect but has 1 small faint scratch on side 1. It can’t be felt and doesn’t affect play. Cover is in really good shape. Has RIAA Gold Record Award emblem in upper left front corner. It does have some ring wear, more noticeable on the black back cover. There’s also some edge and corner wear but all sides are intact. Inner sleeve is almost perfect but bottom edge is splitting where record hits.
We’re selling our collection of LPs that we’ve bought over the years. They hadn’t been played for over 20 years so we cleaned and listened to each one to be sure there are no skips when playing on our turntable, an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. I didn’t make notes on each one as I listened to it as far as any clicks, pops, etc. but I got rid of several that had too much noise or any skips. If you want me to go back and play an album and let you know of any surface noise, clicks, etc., please contact me and I will give you a full rundown prior to purchase.
