This outstanding UK mono 1st pressing dates from initial August 1968 release on the Apple Records label: R 5722.
Matrices: 7XCE 21185-1 & 7XCE 21186-1
Stamper codes: 1/AT & 3/H
Housed in its original & correct plain white die-cut cover (the black 'Apple' covers were not ready at the time of release).
CONDITION
Labels: MINT -
A beautiful set showing no more than two or three small spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: MINT -
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight, with no scuffs, marks or scratches on either side.
Audio: MINT
Both tracks play flawlessly with no crackle or playwear. The power of the mono 'Revolution' has to be heard to be believed!
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just a hint of age-toning to the upper edges.
