The Beatles EPs being sold in the 1960s in Norway were pressed in the Great Britain and Sweden, but there are three “Norwegian” EPs where the records themselves were pressed in Norway and had the Norwegian labels. One of these records is an incredibly rare EP whose pressing run was only 300 copies, The Beatles “I Feel Fine”. The “Norwegian” in this context means that the original picture sleeve and vinyl were manufactured in Norway. Without any exaggeration, it could be said that this The Beatles 45 RPM is one of the five rarest Beatles EPs. For the past 10 years, no more than 6 copies of this EP have been sold at different auctions, including eBay, in the price range between $1000 and more than $2000 depending on copy’s condition. The condition of this copy could be graded as somewhere between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus. The design of the original thick cardboard flap over picture sleeve is executed with the band members being drawn in the form of a good-natured humorous black and white caricature where the members' appearance is changed and their most distinguished traits are highlighted. On the right side from the caricature, the EP's tracks are listed on the green background, whose contours represent a mirror image of the caricature. The drawing has the signature of the Norwegian cartoonist reading “Helle 64”. We’ve made the attempts to find this artist using his signature but until now they have been in vain. We’d appreciate it if you could let us know if you have any information in relation to this. The top of the front cover, on the right from “The Beatles” banner, contains the boxed logo of Parlophone and EMI. The front cover also has the unique catalog number GEOS 225. Besides all of the four tracks, the back cover has the “I Feel Fine” track title indicated in the form of a header, right above “The Beatles “ in green text. This incredibly rare example contains the original turquoise ODEON “Extended Play” GEOS 225 catalog number “Made in Norway” labels with the old Odeon logo, known as the “Odeon temple”. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - 7TST  473 1 / Side 2 - 7TST  474 1. As seen from the matrix numbers they end with the "-1" suffix, which is usually present in the trail-off vinyl only of the very early 1st pressings.

I grade the cover as somewhere between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus. It's very clean and doesn't have any splits, writing or missing pieces. There's only some light overall shelf and ring wear along with some light creasing at the edges. The glossy vinyl is in strong Very Good Plus condition, only having some light hairlines and scuffs, most likely from the cardboard picture sleeve. The Excellent Minus labels are very clean and are wear- and scuff-free, only having a few very light spindle marks seen under a strong light source.
