Description
This is an auction for a GREAT ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 Beatles single I Want To Hold Your Hand / I Saw Her Standing There released in the USA.
The record itself (Capitol 5112 )is ONLY in VERY GOOD condition.
There are quite a few marks/scratches (nothing too deep or drastic)
The labels are Crisp and Clean and have NO WRITING!(see photos)
There is the remains(non sticky) of a label which may easily be removed.
The swirl labels have NO WRITING!
This is the 1st issued vinyl of this release and credits Walter Hofer as the B-side Publisher.
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EX- )for the sleeve alone.(see photos)
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!!!(see photos).
This is the sleeve issued that DOES NOT cut the top of George Harrison's Head!!!
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks.
That said this is a GREAT collection filler until that MINT $100+ sleeve comes along!
Overall this still books at around $110(£73) , so i guess this must be at least £75+. I will start this at A THIRD OF THAT!!!!!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD IF/WHEN PLACING A BID!!!!
IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A MINT RECORD DO NOT BID!!!!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA and Japanese picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases posted together.
