The Beatles ~ INTRODUCING... THE BEATLES
You are bidding on the debut album of The Beatles, released in the US under the name Introducing...The Beatles. This authentic copy is one of the 1st pressings made in the US...it has the songs Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You. This copy is known as the "column back" or "titles on back" cover.

The condition of the vinyl is excellent....it does have some surface blemishes and a small bit of surface noise, but does not skip. The vinyl has been kept for years in a MoFi protective sleeve outside of the album cover. The condition of the cover is most excellent, shows barely any ring wear and has no splits along spine...it does have some peeling in areas...please photos. For an LP that is 56 years old it is in super shape.

One of the things that makes this particular pressing collectible are the songs 'Love Me Do' and 'P.S. I Love You' being on this LP. Vee Jay records put out this LP in early January 1964(probably the 10th of January)...Capitol records then obtained a temporary injunction prohibiting Vee-Jay from manufacturing or distributing Beatles records. Capitol's Beechwood Music subsidiary then sued Vee-Jay over their inclusion of the songs Love Me Do and PS I Love You on their first pressings. When production resumed in February those two songs were replaced with Please Please Me and Ask Me Why. There are many sites on the internet that describe the issues with the early pressing of this particular album, so please feel free to do lots of research and let me know if I have anything incorrect in my description.
