I bought this new in 2014, it is the European edition. It has been kept with care, in my collection. I have listened to all the records once, on excellent equipment – no damage has been done to them. Each album came in a polythene sleeve, which was opened, but still has the album in it. I also had a brief look at the accompanying hardback book, but no damage done to that at all.
My sturdy box / container of the set, is in excellent condition – perhaps not quite as white as when I got it 16 years ago, due to general age and just being in the world.
I still have, and will use, the excellent packing box and interior structure, that these were sent to original customers in. This will ensure safe transit. Original packaging included a printed sleeve, similar to the box, which is still included.
My pictures – first one is the basic product – the strong flip-top case with the records in. Second and third show lid open revealing contents. Last two show the sleeve back on the box. Fourth one, if you can read it, tells you about contents. Sleeve wasn’t easy to re-install, but went back on without damaging anything.
