Description
Retired Audio / Video Pro and amateur Beatles Collector is selling some extra items that are laying around. Here we have a Beatles "LOVE" 2 LP set from Apple / Parlophone in 2007. This is factory sealed with hype sticker in front and "Made in Holland" sticker in back. Stickers are on the shrink wrap and not on the record jacket itself.
Limited double 180-gram vinyl LP pressing. Includes gatefold album cover and 28-page booklet, "LOVE" is not merely the soundtrack to the stunning Cirque du Soleil show of the same name. It is a fascinating reworking of numerous classic Beatles recordings by the band's original producer, Sir George Martin and his son Giles. In creating the music for the show and for the album, George and Giles have created a continuous "soundscape" -- a series of well-known Beatles songs augmented by additional instrumentation and vocals taken from their vast bank of original multi-track tapes.
Not much more to be said. Purchased new at the time of release, these Giles Martin remixes knocked everybody's socks off. Here it is sealed and new to add to your Beatles album collection. My space crunch is your gain.
