Description
The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME MONO PMC 1202
Side 2 with 1 G stampers, very difficult to find, especially on mono records. MT tax coding too!
Side 1: XEX 422-1N (5 ROT)
Side 2: XEX 422-2N (1 G)
COVER: Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending tri-flipback laminated cover. Small MONO in the top right hand corner. No writing, stickers or other ugly marks. A slight tear where the record goes into the cover with some laminate creasing. The back is clean and clear. General handling wear so VG+ overall.
EMITEX INNER: Excellent ’tracing paper’ example. No rips, tears or marks.
LABELS: The first Parlophone Black and Yellow labels with ‘Sold In U.K. ….’ across the centre. Dating from probably early to mid 1965. Very clean and relatively unmarked. MT tax coding very clearly embossed on side 1. Minor spindle markings, especially on side 1. Excellent examples.
VINYL: A slight needle skip on ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ about half way through. I can’t see any reason why as the grooves look perfectly clear and clean, possibly a factory pressing fault. Apart from that, clear uninterrupted mono audio with hardly any background noise. Visually the vinyl looks fantastic! Despite the needle skip I would easily rate this as excellent audio.er Standing There Hnjmdkdkk
