Original 1970 first pressing
Red Apple logo to back of LP sleeve (later pressings have standard green Apple logo)
2U/2U earliest matrix: YEX 773 - 2U and YEX 774 - 2U

OUTER SLEEVE / SLIPCASE:
Excellent (EX) condition. Bright and glossy with sharp corners. No delamination and only minor signs of shelf wear and handling. A superb example.
LP SLEEVE:
Excellent (EX) condition. Bright and glossy with sharp corners and no creases to the spine. No delamination. Only a handling crease to the opening edges where the vinyl has been taken in and out. A superb example.
INNER SLEEVE:
Excellent (EX) condition. The best original white paper inner that you're likely to find.
VINYL:
Very Good (VG) condition. Overall, the record has a good sheen and sounds great, with surface noise only in the quietest moments. There are a couple of small defects together on Side 2 that cause 3 clicks in the gap after The Long and Winding Road and 7 clicks to the beginning of For You Blue. Under a strong light there is a superficial hairline handling mark on Side 1 that starts approximately halfway on track 1 to halfway on track 3 but doesn't affect play; also light surface marks to both sides giving signs of being played and handled. Labels are clean and lovely with just some very subtle spindle marks on each side.
SLIP TRAY:
Good (G) condition. Signs of wear to the edges and a 2.8 cm split to a back fold.
INNER BOOK TRAY:
Missing, as is common in this notoriously fragile box set.
BOOK:
Good (G) condition. Book has been handled very little and has a lovely cover and spine with sharp corners and no creases. However, it is graded as Good because the glue used in these books is poor and failing in places, making the book fragile and with a loose page.
