"Let It Be" è in ordine cronologico il titolo dell'ultimo disco – e del relativo brano guida – pubblicato dai Beatles. L'album è stato registrato pressoché interamente in "presa diretta" (ovvero senza incidere svariate versioni per scegliere la migliore, né prendendo parti delle varie takes o facendo delle sovraincisioni) nel mese di Gennaio del 1969, venne distribuito soltanto l'anno successivo, nel 1970, l'anno dello scioglimento ufficiale del gruppo. La rivista Rolling Stone ha inserito l'album al 392º posto della sua lista dei 500 migliori album .
