So, basically I made this NM just to be overly cautious about anything on the manufacturers end, etc. I probably could list it as M. I have had the album since it was first made available in '03. I worked at a record shop at the time and thought it would be a good one to nab up. The record (including the 7") has never been played. In fact, the 12" record has only been unsealed and taken out once to put it in a different inner sleeve (very carefully, like a NASA operation or something? ;) ). This was just standard for me at the time to put a new record in a better (rice paper typically) inner sleeve- I never wanted new records sanding around in the cheap paper ones, etc. If I would have known at the time that I was never going to play the record, I would have left it sealed- sort of kicking myself for that now? Basically, not to long after I purchased some of those records in 2003, I went overseas, got a new gig, sold my record player, and stored my records in a safe place at my folks, etc. I never got back into records, or a new table, etc., but now that I'm contemplating doing so, I going through some of them now and somewhat thinning the herd, for those I probably won't play and someone else could really enjoy, etc. But this really is like getting one only opened to put a better sleeve on the 12" and the 7", other materials that came with, etc. have never been out of the gatefold, etc. (Hence, my not having taken a pic of that stuff- why take a chance on grubbing it up now, when it is still how it left the factory, etc. Both the record and gatefold have been sleeved the whole time and in a shipping box as well. So , with the exception of the unsealing and the onetime sleeve change, this is never played and as it left the factory, was shipped to my record store at the time, etc.- Perhaps as close to new/sealed as you possibly could get without being still sealed, in other words.
