The Beatles, Let It Be. This is the original UK Stereo issue of their 12th album released in May 1970. The Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated cover is in VG+ Condition, The plain inner is in EX condition and the Record is in VG+ Condition. With great tracks from the Beatles including; 'Get Back & The Long And Winding Road', This has the original dark Apple labels and the A-3U B-2U Matrices & 24-GAA/6-GRH Stampers of the second press copies! Description
Original UK Apple label stereo press LP!This is the final Beatles album, recorded at Twickenham Studios in January 1969 before Abbey Road was recorded and also filmed at the time. Due to disagreements within the band it was not released until May 1970, after the Beatles had finally split up. Although it was intended to be a live album, it was remixed and overdubbed at least 3 times, finally by Phil Spector and again later in 2003, 'Let It Be...Naked' was released minus Spector's production.
This is the second press from late 1970/early 1971 with the dark Apple labels with the wide text, the small 33rpm & the small (P) publishing symbol identical to the first press labels, see the 'The Beatles Collection' website. With the A-3U B-2U matrices of the early 2nd presses.
The Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing and a couple of small creases. The plain inner sleeve is intact and in EX condition. The spine is intact, slightly flattened and fully readable.
The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines/scuffs and a couple of small needle marks visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves and briefly in a couple of the quieter passages. Overall, still a really great, loud & clear listen. The matrix nos. are; YEX-773-3U stamper 24-GAA, YEX-774-2U stamper 6-GRH. This is one of the early copies of the 2nd pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1970 album.

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.

All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
