The Beatles Let It Be UK Box Set, Great Condition

     If you're taking a look at this Beatles collectable you probably know something about it. I purchased this one myself,new, at the "Music City" record store in Kenmore Square,Boston. If I remember correctly, the US edition had not yet been released, so I bought this set, carefully played the record to record, and then carefully put the entire set away...for all these years.

   The Box and Tray:  ...again it was purchased new and well taken care of, however, neither the box or inner tray (that holds the book) are very rigid construction, and so the bottom corners of the box were subject to minor creasing...not severe, and although an imperfection they do not detract from the good looks of this collectable. There is a small tear(about one quarter inch in the lower left corner of the tray where the corner of the book meets the tray)Should you want to repair ir,the tear can probably be closed with a toothpick and a little paste.

    The Book:  I'm very fussy about my record collection, and so, I never fully opened the book for fear of creasing the cover, or somehow damaging the binding. The book, being a soft cover type, seems to be glue bound construction, and although I've never tested it, I suspect that the glue is dry from age and opening it wide or carelessly may upset the binding. The book contains many glossy color photos from the movie and recording session.

     The LP,Jacket, and Sleeve:  The lp and labels,both sides, are like new....markings in the wax are as follows: YEX 773-2U...6 LA, then on other side YEX 774-2U...6 CL.The record jacket is a high gloss laminate type with 4 individual photos on the back and the red apple logo...beneath which reads "An EMI Recording printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Apple Records" The LP is housed in the original white inner sleeve.
