COMMENTS
Side A features the entire "Atlanta" concert squeezed onto Side A (but with Roll Over Beethoven moved to Side B after I'm Down) and Side B contains an incredible artefact created by overdubbing live screaming onto the officially released versions, kept at a very low volume, to recreate the entire Tokyo 1966 setlist -- only a few guitar riffs taken from other sources were left in-between the songs. We suppose that this indicates that this record was released BEFORE LIVE IN TOKYO by OG Records, which started being distributed in early 1972, so the producers did not have any available recording of the concert, but AFTER the attribution of the Philadelphia show to "Atlanta Whiskey Flat" in early 1971. Moreover, there exists a Pink Floyd record by the same company, also titled LIVE, on matrix TPL 3003, that features a live show in Japan from June 8, 1971. So, also considering that the company produced 28 more masters between the Pink Floyd LIVE and the Beatles LIVE, we suppose that this record was released not earlier than August 1971 and not later than early 1972. Unfortunately, other than creating a fake live show, the producers had the trouble of fitting the entire concert onto the B-side of the LP (and not even the complete side!). How to do it? Simple, by speeding it up. If side A was already running fast, side B was extreemely sped-up, by 12%! The result is amazingly ridiculous, with the Beatles sounding like the Chipmunks... Moreover, instead of using Side B in its entirety for the Tokyo show, the producers thought it was a good idea to save space for adding the version of Let It Be from GET BACK TO TORONTO, which of course is completely out of any context here and required to speed up the fake live show to this absurd extent.
