Description

The Beatles - Love me do  

here is the single that kicked off the revolution, a first issue on the much sought after red parlophone label:

side a: love me do

side b: P.S. I love you

Red Parlophone 45-R 4949

matrix:

7XCE 17144-1N   ZT

7XCE 17145-1N   ZT

side A has an "L" at 3 o'clock as does side B though it is more at 4 o'clock than 3 o'clock on side B     

now I have cleaned this both sides on a Moth II pro record cleaner and visually looks very good a bit of shine. You can see some surface marks from play but nothing deep. I has a very slight warp though I have played through several times both sides and it hasn't affected play on my player which is quite sensitive. As I say it is very slight and I didn't notice it at all till I looked level to the record going round on the player.

 Also there is a name written on label both sides.

 It plays throught quite well with some background crackle but not too bad and I enjoyed playing it hence why I feel it is still worth putting for sale to a Beatles collector. Not perfect as I say but a good inbetweener till that elusive mint copy drops out of the sky....
