Today's auction is for an Original Master Recording LP of the Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour". These limited edition, high fidelity recordings were re-mastered using Capitol's 1967 Stereo and Duophonic tapes by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs and are revered by audiophiles for their recording quality.

Description: Really beautiful copy...there is very little keeping this from its original state.
- "Original Master Recording" White Mo-Fi label has the EMI box logo (not Capitol). Issued in a gatefold jacket that has a few light tan spots; bottom left corner of sleeve has sustained light bump at some point in the past. Each pressing came with a posterboard fold-out insert protecting the LP. On one side had a photo of historical-looking figures holding up Mo-Fi LPs stating "Limited Editions From the Original Masters", the other side is a description of Mo-Fi's background & process. Inside the fold out shows other Mo-Fi releases. Foldover flyer advertising MSFL products and a Business-Reply survey mailer both as new; original purchaser taped receipt from Tower Records to the inside of the flyer. According to Discogs, some copies also included a yellow 5" x 8" Certificate of Limited Warranty and a 8.5" x 11" order form for Mo-Fi's GEO-DISC!; neither of these are present with this copy, if issued.
- The LP itself is translucent (hold it up to a bright light and you can see through it) and comes in a paper-lined rice paper sleeve. The record is very clean and appears virtually unplayed (note: photos show some effects of reflection).
