THE BEATLES - 'CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE AGAIN'
Written by the Beatles themselves, this the most entertaining of their Christmas messages took the form of a send-up of current radio & TV programmes. The highlight is the song 'Christmas Time is Here Again' which was recorded in just one take with John on Timpani, Paul on piano, George on acoustic guitar, Ringo on drums and double-tracked vocals from the four, plus contributions from George Martin and Victor Spinetti.
The 1-sided 33 1/3 rpm flexi-disc was mailed out to UK Fan-club members only in December 1967.
The disc is housed in its McCartney-designed picture sleeve and comes complete with its 'National Christmas 1967' newsletter.
Also present is the original mailing envelope postmarked 'London SW1 19 Dec 1967'.
