THE BEATLES
Magical Mystery Tour Vintage USA Capitol Stereo LP • SMAL-2835 • Complete 24-Page BookletA Psychedelic Journey Through Beatles History
Few Beatles records capture the colour, imagination and creative freedom of 1967 quite like Magical Mystery Tour. Originally created around the group’s surreal television film, the project brought together some of their most adventurous psychedelic recordings, including “I Am the Walrus,” “The Fool on the Hill,” “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “Penny Lane” and the timeless anthem “All You Need Is Love.”
The American Capitol edition became especially important because it transformed the original UK double-EP concept into a full-length LP. Its second side collected several landmark Beatles singles, creating a track sequence that proved so successful it later became the internationally recognised album configuration.
Collectors appreciate this edition for its striking psychedelic gatefold artwork, distinctive Capitol presentation, Apple-themed labels and original full-colour booklet. Regular listeners love it for a different reason: it is simply one of the most enjoyable and instantly recognisable collections from the Beatles’ experimental period. This is a genuine vintage copy with visible history and character, offered honestly rather than over-graded.

Honest Condition Grading Vinyl: Very Good (VG)The record has been played and shows visible signs of previous use, including surface marks, light scratches and general handling wear. During playback, some light background noise and occasional crackle may be heard, particularly in quieter passages. There are no skips, and intrusive clicks do not dominate the music. The sound remains clear, full and enjoyable, making this a good vintage listening copy for regular play.
Gatefold Sleeve: Very Good (VG)The original cover displays honest age-related wear, including rubbing, edge and corner wear, small marks, light staining and areas of laminate wear. The artwork and printed text remain vibrant, attractive and clearly readable. Please inspect all photographs, as they form an important part of the condition description.
Original 24-Page Booklet: Very Good (VG)The original illustrated booklet is present and retains its colourful photographs, film imagery and printed lyrics. The booklet has become detached from the original staples inside the gatefold and shows normal age and handling wear. This is clearly shown in the photographs and has been reflected in the grading.
