Description
Novelty of this jacket is that it lists both the Stereo and Mono catalog numbers instead of the stereo only (and the other 1971 pressing I've found don't have the MAL 2835 on the bottom right corner like this one does). Following a light cleaning I did see a number of small marks on both sides most of which appear of have been caused from the original paper sleeve. I did complete a test play through Grado PS1000e’s and there was some light surface noise in the quiet areas however no pops or ticks. Vinyl is scored VG+, a very solid C+ and very close to excellent). Vinyl has been placed in a new MoFi sleeve. The cover does show a fair amount of corner wear (most noticeably on the rear bottom left corner where a 3mm corner piece can fold back) along with wear in the seams (more noticeable on the bottom) along with some light wear on the spine. There is faint ring wear on the rear cover. Finally the insert, which is complete and in excellent condition, has come loose from the internal fixed insert 'front' and 'rear'. This all having been said I score the cover as VG, a bit better than a C-. The album will be shipped in between cardboard with the vinyl outside of the jacket within a cardboard record mailer.
