Description

The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour 1981 Original Master Recording translucent 12 inch LP pressed in Japan Limited Edition. MFSL-1-047-A2 T SR/2 ORTOFON 121 * D in runout side 1.

Jacket has some minor shelf wear, record looks like new, no scratches I can see. Both sides play through perfectly, no skips/jumps/popping or hissing. Please see photos.

Limited Edition Original master recording, re-mastered using Capitol's 1967 Stereo and Duophonic tapes.
(Mo-Fi later issued the cassette version with all true stereo mixes using a master from EMI Germany)

Blue banner at the top cover (front & back) "Original Master Recording". White Mo-Fi label has the EMI box logo (not Capitol).

Half-Speed Production and Mastering by Original Masteringworks™ - Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Vinyl by Victor Company Of Japan Ltd. - Special Static Free-Dust Free Inner Sleeve - Special Heavy Duty Protective Packaging - Source: The Original Stereo Master Tape - Mastered With The Ortofon Cutting System. Pressed in Japan

Issued in a gatefold jacket, each pressing came with a posterboard fold-out insert protecting the LP. On one side had a photo of historical-looking figures holding up Mo-Fi LPs stating "Limited Editions From the Original Masters", the other side is a description of Mo-Fi's background & process. Inside the fold out shows other Mo-Fi releases.

The LP itself is translucent (hold it up to a bright light and you can see through it) and comes in a paper-lined rice paper sleeve.
