Description
This is a really nice copy of the 1967 Capitol Records STEREO release, SMAL 2853. B12 / A9 matrix, Jacksonville pressing. Has first variation Capitol black label with rainbow colorband and listing all songs BMI and no "subsidiary" rimprint. Gatefold cover is first issue cover with inner slick crediting all songs Maclen Music Inc., BMI, "No You're Not" in block letters under "I am the Walrus” and in VG+ showing just very light surface, edge and ringwear and with complete 24 page booklet stapled in and in tact in VG+ condition in a protective plastic sleeve. Vinyl is in VG+ condition showing just very light surface wear and playing very nicely throughout with just very light and very occasional surface noise (there is a surface mark on side 2 that causes a light click in the middle of “All You Need Is Love” for 20 - 25 revolutions, otherwise very little surface noise in protective anti-static sleeve.
