Description
MMTA1/B1 Original 1st pressing of MMT on the UK Parlophone lable from 1967. Matrix -1/-1/-1/-2. Record label includes the 'Sold In The UK....' blurb - which was discontinued in 1969. This double EP comes housed in its original gatefold cover and includes the original Garrod & Lofthouse booklet with blue lyric sheets.
Cover (Ex) In great condition and has clearly been carefully looked after. There's very little edge wear apparent at all - which is quite unusual. Front and back are nice and shiny with no markings or defects. The condition of the pages inside the booklet are really good too. All interior pages are intact and in excellent condition. Very slight fading on the interior front and back page - the flipbacks are all intact.
Vinyls(Ex-) Again these have been very carefully looked after and do not appear to have seen significant use. Under close inspection I can see a couple of very light marks, but nothing remotely feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and you are treated to some great bold mono sound. A couple of ultra-light crackles are just audible in places, but in reality these are barely noticeable and do not detract from what is a really excellent level of playback.
