This is a highly collectible original 1967 Mono pressing of The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour," pressed at the Capitol Records Pressing Plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Unlike the UK release (which was a double EP), the US version was released as a full LP with a gatefold cover that includes an integral 24-page full-color picture book illustrating the film. The Mono mix is unique and differs significantly from the Stereo version, making it the preferred format for serious audiophiles and collectors.

TRUE FIRST PRESSING: This copy features the classic black rainbow Capitol labels with the rim text: "MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC. U.S.A. T.M. MARCA REG. โข U.S. PAT. NO. 2,631,859". Crucially, it does NOT have the "A Subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc." text, confirming it was pressed before the label change in 1968.
