Description
Superb first press copy of The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour - MMT 1 - Mono. Has original blue lyric sheets indicating a first 1967 pressing.
The two EP’s are packaged in a laminated gatefold sleeve with a 24-page original booklet with four blue pages containing the song lyrics. The inner booklet has pictures taken during filming by John Kelly and a cartoon depicting the film’s storyline, which was written by Tonny Barrow and drawn by Bob Gibson. The mono sleeve has “MMT-1” and “MONO” in white in the upper right corner on the back side. The sleeves and booklets were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Only one of the records has the original white center die-cut inner sleeve - has some writing on it.
Record look rarely played - I have play-tested it and it sounds superb - spindles are in very good condition. Picture sleeve in great condition. Superb example of a classic.
Will be safely packed in a protective cardboard sleeve.
