The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour OG 1969 - RED WAX NM or EX [Japan] Vinyl RARE. Red Vinyl. Includes 24-page full color picture book, Lyrics insert and tracklisting insert.
I can't say it is new because of how old this item is, however - I grade conservatively and would definitely grade this as NM but bordering on EX - depending on how people take into consideration: ageing. The corners for this item are remarkably sharp and near perfect! The OBI is flawless on the outside. Inside the jacket, there is what is called "foxing" from discoloration and from the staples in the booklet. I've seen bad cases of this, but this vinyl has hardly any. I can't say it's perfect so I have to mention the foxing. Very slight signs of it along the inside fold where the booklet has staples and few spots, barely noticeable on the inside of the OBI. This lp is almost perfect for it's age, and composition.
I say it's on the border of Near Mint and Excellent. The vinyl itself has never been played by me and I've had this since 1969 when a friend brought it over from Japan. Can't say that maybe if I was out of the house, that my sister played it - so I can't say Never Been Played. I had the US version and spun that one many times. I've had this in a resealable plastic sleeve for decades and put a new one on. Been on a shelf in a cool smoke-free environment.
Really an excellent lp! I'm sorry I'm selling it, but you can't keep everything.
