Original reissue of The Beatles’ 1967 album Magical Mystery Tour released in Germany in 1981. This factory sealed copy was imported into the US and distributed by a New York based company, Peters International. All of the songs on this release were reissued in the true Stereo format. This is the last vinyl reissue that came out before the CD release. Original single-type non-laminated glossy cover with an Apple illustration logo and “Apple” text below it in a script font. The front cover has two original stickers affixed to the shrink wrap. The first sticker has the information concerning the importer and distributor of this issue. The price sticker with the “Music Plus” text is executed in the form of a record cover with a part of the vinyl sticking out of it. The back cover has an old Apple mark, looking like a drawing, the “Apple presents” text below it in the upper left-hand corner and the catalog number 1C 072-04-449 in the upper right-hand corner. Below the boxed EMI Electrola logo, the back cover contains the information concerning the manufacturer of the cover, “4P Nicolaus Gmbh, Köln”. The lower right-hand corner has an embossed boxed EMI Electrola logo. All of the copies of this issue have the green-yellow Apple Records labels with the 1 C 072-04-449 catalog number. The album is in outstanding Mint Minus condition, only having a very light barely noticeable crease in the lower right-hand corner of the front cover.
