Description
This is the original STEREO first pressing of the UK 7" Exteneded Player "Magical Mystery Tour" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number SMMT-1. These original Extended Players are tricky to obtain in decent condition but this one is in a remarkable MINT condition.
Matrix numbers side 1, 7YCE 18435-1, side 2, 7YCE 18434-2, side 3, 7YCE 18436-1, side 4, 7YCE 18437-1. Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock, 5, @ 3 oclock OL, side 2, @ 9 oclock 1, @ 3 oclock RR, side 3, @ 9 0clock 2, @ 3 oclock AY, side 4 @ 9 oclock 1 @ 3 oclock HG.
The labels have "The Gramophone Company" rim and "Sold In UK text". Labels are bright and clear and have no damage of any kind. I can see only one or two very light spindle lines on either side.
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine on all four sides and there are NO SCRATCHES, NO SCUFFS and NO OTHER SURFACE MARKS.
The outer sleeve is FANTASTIC condition. The laminated front and rear remain beautifully preserved and clean, the only visible wear is a little laminate lift on the bottom left corner and spine. The item is complete with the original wavy top inners that are in great shape. All in all this is a great item in outstanding condition.
This is an outstanding item that has survived remarkably well for 49 years. How time flies.
