For auction is a first edition vinyl copy of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Vinyl LP I was a big collector of Beatles bootlegs many years ago when the industry was young and everything was vinyl, As you may know, often the graphics consisted of nothing more than a typed-out tracklist and some photos, all photocopied onto a single sheet of paper. Those were the days . . . collectors clamored for more and a lot of never-before-heard material was first being discovered. I live in Chicago and lucky for me a lot of the early bootlegs were available at the local record stores in their "imports" section or the special box under the counter that they were reluctant to show you until they came to know you as a regular.'' I bought this new from Rolling Stones Records in Chicago. The LP is in Near Mint Condition. I only played it once. Keep in mind however, that the quality of the recordings wasn't that great in the early days of this industry and the pressing may not be that great either.
This was one of those quirky hodgepodge bootlegs from the early 80s. The first LP has the soundtrack from the Magical Mystery Tour film, so it includes “Shirley’s Wild Accordian,” “Jessie’s Dream” aka “Aunt Jessie’s Nightmare,” and the Bonzo Dog Band’s “Death Cab for Cutie.” LP 2 has all kinds of tracks including the bogus Beatles song “Peace of Mind,” “All Together on the Wireless Machine,” “I’ll Be on My Way,” “Step Inside Love,” some BBC performances and other stuff.
The insert sheet is printed with light brown ink the track listing and shows the Wizardo catalog no. WRMB 310.

I purchased this at least 35 years ago. It has been kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment since I purchased it.
