Description

I am selling some rare and rather obscure Beatles LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions too.

 In this auction: 

·        “WINGS AT THE SPEED OF SOUND”  by Paul McCartney & Wings 

·        This LP is Capitol Records SW 11525.

·        This WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL LP was released in March, 1976.

·        As you may know, PROMOTIONAL PRESSINGS are particularly sought-after and hard-to-find these days, because promo records were produced in very small/limited quantities and were ONLY released to radio stations/DJs for airplay to promote the song, the LP that the song is taken from, and the artists overall.

·        This LP has GREAT Paul McCartney & Wings tunes on it including “Let ‘Em In” and “Silly Love Songs”.

·        The VINYL is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There are just a few very light surface hairlines/scuffs and lots of gloss on the vinyl! The labels have 4 songs circled (probably done by some DJ to identify certain cuts to play), and there are 2 small black ink marks above “WINGS” on Side 1.  

·        The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. It has moderate overall wear, a couple of small corner pushes, and a slight crease on the front on the left near the spine.  There is some sticker residue at top right corner. There is NO WEAR on the seams, but there is a tiny “ding” near the bottom of the spine.

·        This has become a HARD-TO-FIND WINGS PROMO LP that will be a nice addition to your vinyl collection.
