Description

Here is a copy of the Beatles' single "My Bonnie"/ "The Saints" released in January,1964 on MGM Records K13213. This is a first pressing.
The Beatles were playing along with Tony Sheridan in Hamburg in 1962 when this 45 was recorded. The lead singer on "My Bonnie" is John Lennon. MGM were quick to get this single out in order to cash in on Beatlemania. They could see the Beatles' popularity growing all over Europe. MGM released this recording two months before the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, in anticipation that they would be a big hit in the U.S.!
The single plays fine and I would grade it VG++.
The picture sleeve is getting very rare, as it goes all the way back almost 62 years ago!
The sleeve is also getting rare and there are only a handful on Ebay. I graded this one VG, as it has a number of wrinkle. If someone would flatten it out for some time, it would look a whole lot better. Another idea? Frame it! That would certainly flatten it.
Shipping/Handling will be $4.99 Media Mail within the U.S. Check my other records for sale on Ebay this week by clicking "Seller's other items."
