THE BEATLES - 'No.1'
1963 UK *1st PRESSING* EP
This fine 1st pressing from 1963 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8883
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label & in both run-outs.
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N
Stamper codes: 2/GG & 1,5/HT
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & bright with just a small handful of spindle marks to each label but no other signs of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & glossy surfaces which display no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight and just some harmless wispy hairlines under halogen light.
Play: EXCELLENT
This carefully played and well looked after copy plays superbly with no significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout or indeed any major faults.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A super strong & gloss example with just some light storagewear and a few faint blemishes on the rear panel but no other significant faults.
