The Beatles Please Please Me Stereo Vinyl LP PCS 3042 Matrix YEX94-1 (Stamps 2/11D) YEX 95-1 (Stamps 1/AO)
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an original stereo copy of this historic record. Condition Vinyl - In very good condition. The labels are very clean, and there is no evidence of any spindle mark. The vinyl is also very clean with a good sheen to it. There is slight visible scratching. It looks like this LP has hardly been played. Overall, it plays very well with good stereo reproduction.
Sleeve - Good to VG. Garrod and Lofthouse, "small stereo" sleeve with the iconic angus McBean Photograph on the front. There is a little creasing on the front cover only, particularly bottom right. The rear cover has signs of the record imprint with some greying. There are no rips or tears and the colour has held up strongly. The previous owner has also written in biro on the back cover, "Released 11 April 1963" and next to track 7 side 1 Please Please Me "12 Jan 1963" and first track side 2 Love Me Do "5 Oct 1962". Have not checked but pretty sure these are accurate release dates of these tracks as singles. There are three other biro marks. (See photo). Spine is in good condition with writing clear.
