The Beatles Original Vinyl Album: Please Please Me

This is an Original UK album of the Beatles classic debut album Please Please Me.

Eight of the tracks were written by Lennon and McCartney.

This records is from my own personal collection and has not been via any other users or dealers.

It has not been used for maybe 25 years or more apart from recently, prior to sale. Therefore wear due to years of playing is low. It has retained its sheen and was used on good quality equipment and have been stored in a proper, upright stand.

14-track mono LP under the EMI Parlophone label.

The outer cover is in very good condition, bright and shiny, slight scuff on corners, a strip of sellotape residue on the rear bottom foldover edge. Please see photos.

'Please Please Me – The Beatles' clearly identified along the closed edge.

The original inner sleeve is in good condition.

The vinyl surface is in very good condition, bright and shiny. It has few slight whispy marks visible under certain lighting conditions on the record surface, which are superficial and does not effect the excellent sound quality.

Both sides play very well and is clear throughout.

Identifiers on the recording include PMC 1202.

Metrix numbers on the vinyl -

Runout Matrix Side 1 (stamped): XEX 421-1N around inner spiral – also GRO – also 1 G (vertical print).

Side 2 (stamped): XEX 422-1N also 4 5 (vertical print)- GDL

From my research this may be a third or fourth pressing: Summer 1963 – January 1964. Please satisfy yourself of the pressing if you desire.
